ASYLUM SEEKERS CENTRE CHOIR

Karen taught a choir of adults from many different countries
which she formed at the Asylum Seekers Centre -Sydney in 2001 - 2002.

The clients at the Centre are on temporary visas and participated in a weekly singing
class and led the Christmas carols at the centre’s Christmas party in 2001, 2002

All participants in the classes came from a different country so
the means of communication was music.

The courses went for 2 hrs over an 8 week period.
This was an enjoyable & bonding experience for all participants.
