Workshop
leader Dr Riley Lee, a Grand Master of the shakuhachi (traditional Japanese
bamboo flute), has developed a number of easy and effective breathing
exercises designed to immediately make you aware of your breath and give
you a sense of increased well-being. The results are instantaneous. Lee
believes that there is a healthy way to breathe and most of us do not
breathe in this way. Simple breathing exercises can benefit almost everyone on both physical and metaphysical levels, and better breath awareness leads to better control over all aspects of your life. These exercises will benefit singers who are seeking optimum breath control. www.rileylee.net http://www.rileylee.net/biography.html This participatory workshop provides you with both an intellectual and an experiential understanding of the act of breathing, so that you can continue to experience the positive effects after the workshop is over. |
