Workshop
leader Dr. Lee, ethnomusicologist and Grand Master of the shakuhachi
(traditional Japanese bamboo flute), with more than two decades of teaching
and performing experience, has developed a number of simple and effective
breathing exercises. The breathing exercises give the participants an immediate sense of the positive results of good breathing. These exercises will benefit singers who are seeking optimum breath control. Simple breathing exercises can benefit almost everyone on both physical and metaphysical levels, and better breath awareness leads to better control over all aspects of your life. www.rileylee.net This participatory workshop provides you with both an intellectual and an experiential understanding of the act of breathing, so that you can continue to experience the positive effects after the workshop is over. |
